      "Upsetting experience"
I am disgusted with this hotel I booked a room for 4 days as I lost my husband 3yrs ago and he loved Liverpool and supported Liverpool so I got a stone laid in memory of him so that’s what I come to do and the tour of the stadium with other members of my family . my granddaughter was sharing the room with me I have stayed here years ago which I had no complaints but this time the room was not acceptable the room was thick with dust up the curtains along the curtains the brickwork along the window was thick with ingrained dirt and thick black dirt cobwebs in corner of window dust thick behind tv ingrained dirt in hairdryer switch clean bedding lying under a bed for next guests bag was lying open bedding hanging out ,dirt all along carpet behind single bed @ the window my grandaughter was the 1 that noticed stuff first but didn’t want to say to me so anyway I went to reception voiced my concerns ask if they had another room I was told no they were full I asked to speak to the manager which he got in touch for me he said he was busy in the restaurant until 9pm he would get him to come up and see me time passed no one appeared, so I went back again so the guy on reception phoned him and he come to see me I showed him a video and photos of room he said we will have to speak to the housekeeper about this he then went over to the desk and went on computer and asked the guy on the desk do we have any rooms which he said again no we are full, I said I wouldn’t be staying in that room and could they get me a room in another hotel I was told no and handed a phone no to phone guest relations in the morning I still have the piece of paper with the no they wrote down , I phoned they said I would have to book another room myself @ the same price and they might give me some compensation but the system was down so I couldn’t do anything they looked as well she said system must be updating so I couldn’t book anything, in the morning I went down to desk and said to the woman on the desk we were leaving she was very nice she said we were expecting you she said she can’t understand why they could just refund my money and let me get somewhere else and she gave me another phone no to phone, so I couldn’t do it do I went away on my day out very upset as it ruined my day I struggle walking due to severe arthritis in my knee , after my trip I sat on the steps out side stadium and phoned gust relations after talking to them the woman went away to talk to someone else but I got cut of I phoned again and had to go through it al again getting nowhere so I booked a hotel myself another £203 after paying £246 for my stay in the premier in I asked for a refund they sent £67 to my bank without asking was I accepting this,I have been constantly in contact with customer relations to try and resolve it but getting no where I have almost been called a lier they are saying they offered another room which they didn’t and said they offered to clean room and brickwork but didn’t this has upset me very much i have told the truth word by word . I have a video but can’t upload it .
      "Birthday ruined"
Lovely looking from the outside. First of all got asked for id as I gave the girl cash to pay for breakfast I’ve wave heard anything so ridiculous In my life. Then she gave me a room on the top floor which I thought perfect got to it and it wouldn’t open. Got all the way back down and the lady laughed in my face and said it was the wrong room and gave me no apology. Only one lift working and our room had cobwebs on the window ….avoid
      "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Value"
My colleague and I booked this last minute for a Sunday night stay ahead of a Monday morning meeting — and we were really impressed! For just £50 plus £10 for breakfast, it was an absolute bargain. The bed was super comfy, the room was clean, and we loved the slightly funky vibe with the exposed brick walls — a nice touch that gives it some character. Overall, a great stay and excellent value for money. Would definitely book again!
"No fresh air or working Air conditioning, room was just a sweat box"
Couldn’t sleep, no air conditioning and cannot open a window. The 28th of June was a very hot day, the room was very hot, we complained at reception and were told yes we know the air conditioning doesn’t work, there is a fan. The windows are screwed closed so you cannot get any fresh or cool air into the room at all. The room is completely airless, like a sealed box with no fresh air at all, this cannot be healthy at all and was just too hot to sleep. We were supposed to stay two nights but left after one very expensive Saturday night. For the money we could have stayed in a 5 star hotel in the city. Very very poor experience. Front desk staff seemed to be struggling with capacity and could not help at all. Even if the air conditioning doesn’t was working I would not advise staying in this place as there is no fresh air coming into the room at all, very poor design
      "Great stay!"
This was the first time we had stayed at the Albert Dock, what a wonderful hotel, located in a perfect place. Very easy to get to and lots to do. The room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Liverpool people amazing, very approachable and helpful. A lovely gesture left for my friends birthday. Would definitely go and stay there again! I have no issues at all, only suggestions would be extra plug sockets in the rooms and the windows are a bit clearer, but this is minor! I'm so impressed
