Liverpool City Centre (Albert Dock) hotel

A very enjoyable few days in Liverpool was certainly enhanced by our stay at the Premier Inn situated in Albert Docks . A great place from which to explore the city with a multitude of excellent restaurants on the doorstep. Our room was well furnished (especially the bed) and service was first class - particularly for breakfast. Our one objection was that having paid extra for a room with a view over the dock - that view was marred by the absolutely filthy windows which did not inspire one to look out .

This is a very friendly and welcoming hotel. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The buffet breakfast is great with a wide selection. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. It is a great location with easy access to attractions, shops and restaurants. Me and my wife have stayed at this hotel many times and we have never had a bad experience. Well done and thank you.

Tired/dated and so noisy! The sound of the floorboards in the hall is absolutely horrendous! You can hear every creak and step. The rooms look tired and need a revamp. Shower pressure was awful and the smell in the room you leave your luggage was horrendous!

I chose this hotel because of its location near the things we wanted to do and see in Liverpool. The bed and bathroom were clean, and there was sufficient shelving and surface space for our stuff. The staff we dealt with were all pleasant. However, the place could do with a refresh. The carpet and curtains in the room were tired-looking, and the curtains wouldn’t close completely. In fairness, I did not report this to the hotel; we just made do. We had a nice view of the River Mersey, but the window was incredibly dirty. Our room overlooked the main entrance to Albert Dock, so it got a little noisy at times with commercial traffic and general revelry, though it eventually quieted. We did have a breakfast (extra charge) in the restaurant; there were several options and the food was quite tasty. Overall, this Premier Inn was okay, but I was expecting the interior to be a little fresher.
