Liverpool City Centre (Albert Dock) hotel

Room is very nice good location also just had a meal food was lovely staff where very helpful polite good fun very knowledgeable of the local area

Went on a two day visit to Liverpool, stayed at The Premier Inn, Albert Dock. We thought the rooms were fabulous. Located in a non-combustible warehouse system, our opinion was it was very tastefully refitted, with the old features still in place. The service was fabulous, staff great and breakfast second to none. We’d definitely stay again. The only off-putting factor, an unpleasant smell from a near by restaurant, out of the control of the hotel, and I personally didn’t notice it on day two. On balance, a great hotel.

Stayed with my 2 teenage daughters. Great location. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and 10min walk to the city centre. Check-in was quick and the staff were very friendly. Clean and tidy and the room was a reasonable size. Looks a bit dated so could do with a refurb and the TV is just way too small. Temperature on our stay was 26° and there was a fan supplied in our room. This is because there's no aircon. Came with free coffee and tea but surprisingly no mini fridge and no toothbrush and paste. For £280 in you expect these essentials to be included. Windows don't open and are fitted with metal bars. This is a concern because in an emergency and you are trapped in your room then it makes it difficult for you to be rescued through the window. Breakfast was super good value if you have kids under 16. Pay for 1 adult breakfast of £10.99 and both of my kids eat free. Has all the usual food for a continental breakfast. Overall it's ok .

Great location with plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Airy rooms but furnishings are a little worn. Friendly staff. Car park is 5 minutes walk and discounted to around £19 per 24 hours. To note: There is the most awful smell in the lift / stairway area from the neighbouring restaurant’s kitchens. It made my 3 year old sick in the lift.

Myself and my friend booked our own rooms and the young man on reception made sure we were situated in rooms next door to each other for convenience. Both rooms had views over the albert dock and both rooms were very clean and welcoming. We had the meal deals in the restaurant with breakfast included and felt we got excellent value for money as the food was lovely and there were plenty of choices. Breakfast was nice but we never saw Decaf coffee or tea which is a shame as I can only drink these due to health reasons, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The staff we encountered were wonderful, the young man on reception was so welcoming and funny we felt very welcome from the minute we walked through the door, also the young lady who served the meals was very attentive and polite. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. The location was perfect for the attractions of Liverpool and the hotel/food/service provided good value for money.
