Liverpool City Centre (Albert Dock) hotel

Without doubt, the best Premier Inn I have stayed in. I work away from home a lot, and head office have an account with Premier Inn so wherever I am working, I’ll be booked into the nearest hotel. Naturally, there are pros and cons with this. However, I hit the jackpot this time! A beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. My room looked over the Albert Dock, and the sunset was phenomenal (I’ll try to add a photo) The only warning I would give is parking. It’s extremely expensive, but that’s nothing to do with the hotel and outwith their control. £27.00 a day All the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful, and I really hope that I’m working in Liverpool again soon to stay here 😊

First impressions of the building , very nice right bang in the middle of Albert dock , a perfect location , Check in - not very chatty just the basics, Told where our room was , through that door to the lifts , ( older lady with tattoos) Once through that door , what a stink , it smells foul . Lifts only big enough for 4 people or two With cases , When you get to your floor ( 1st ours ) You get the displeasure of walking on can only be describe as the loudest floor I’ve ever had the displeasure of walking on , I’ve never heard a floor creek as much as this without collapsing , by the sounds of it it won’t be long either !! The room - situated at the back facing the river Mersey and next door to the holiday inn , The room its self was clean ish apart from lights caked in dust, chips out of make shift bed side tables , and very basic, but like the rest of the windows in the hotel hell fire when was the last time they was cleaned ?? A loud humming noise from a motor or pump all night long , Holes in curtains , The main table in the room so wobbly it’s ready for just falling apart , So not great at all Other big minus point , not one single USB point in the room , in this day and age we find that shocking .its a basic thing these days . Needs sorting asap Very very small TV Breakfast - it was ok but that’s as far as il go , I’ve had worse , basics full English , frozen berry’s and yogurt and toast Out and about , you could not be in a better position, right on the dock and 10 min walk to the centre for the shops etc Would we stay here again ? The last premier we stayed in was at east mids airport and wow the diff between this one and that one is a million miles This place URGENTLY needs a refurb So No we wouldn’t until it’s had a that refurb , what ever that smell is near the lifts it needs sorting , it smells like somethings died down there .

Regular choice when visiting Liverpool due to the amazing location, rooms quirky as the building has been beautifully and sensitively restored maintaing the structureof the building. The rooms are spotless, amazing staff, very helpful and welcoming. Mel the receptionist always goes above and beyond, what a star! Brilliant breakfast!

Wonderful friendly staff. Amazing location right next to the Beatles story. Rooms were lovely. Breakfast was delicious- staff made everything fresh for my son who has a severe nut allergy and were extremely attentive. Discounted parking with the voucher for the hotel.

Third time at this hotel and we love it, rooms are so comfy and love the historic feel to them, been on the dock itself is great close to everything you need. Staff are very friendly especially Caleb who went above and beyond to help us with everything we need he was super friendly and just a credit to the hotel.
