"Happy to recommend"
I’ve stayed in this hotel several times over the last few years and I’m happy to offer a positive review. It is conveniently located just off the Leicester Ring Road a few minutes drive from Fosse Park Retail / M1 motorway junction, so convenient. We have family who live nearby so suits us. There are retail and leisure amenities nearby so again suitable for families.
It is nonetheless a quiet area with a restaurant / evening pub on site and another pleasant one a few minutes walk away. I have never had any issues with this hotel and have always found the staff to be welcoming and accommodating both at the hotel reception and in the restaurant, particularly in the morning for breakfast. I have stayed in other hotels in Leicester, but would only select a different one now if this one wasn’t available for some reason as it meets our requirements and is always reasonably priced.
So to summarise: reasonably priced hotel, fairly basic (but that’s fine as it’s a bed for the night and breakfast in the morning), conveniently located in a reasonable and quiet area, with friendly staff. Happy to recommend

"Friendly and helpful staff"
Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting an event nearby. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I was disappointed that the Observatory restaurant is not used for evening meals any more. These are now served in the bar area which was crowded, noisy and draughty with the outside door open. I assume this is to cut down on staff costs, but I would be inclined to eat out somewhere else on future visits. The food for both breakfast and evening meal was well cooked, although I could find no mention anywhere of the £2.99 surcharge I had to pay for the sirloin steak under the meal deal.
All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful - particular mention to Jaz who worked tirelessly at the bar and Zoe(?) who did similar work for the breakfast meal

A quiet and peaceful place, perfect for my three day training. Very convenient location with a shopping centre and local food shop nearby.

"Excellent customer and comfortable nights sleep"
I stupidly booked the wrong date, only staying in hotel while I help my father in law whole lives a few mins away, downsize.
Went to reception was served by Agata who was very understanding and was able to change my booking. She was polite and helpful. And I was very lucky to have been able to have my book g changed. The hotel itself is clean, not dusty and enough facilities for a 3 star. Highly recommend
