Fleet hotel

An absolutely wonderful hotel with spectacular accommodation and excellent service from everyone, including the receptionist, chef and manager. The hotel has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast, with everything you could wish for. The coffee was fresh, the food was delicious and very well prepared. I felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after throughout my stay. My daughter has additional needs, and I was especially touched by the care, kindness and attention she received. The staff made her feel comfortable and relaxed, allowing her to enjoy her meal peacefully. This meant so much to me. A very special thank you to Loki and Jack, who were absolutely wonderful. They looked after us so well and made sure we felt comfortable and welcome. Their kindness and excellent service were truly appreciated. Thank you both so much! The entire hotel was also spotlessly clean and very well maintained. I couldn't be happier with our experience. Thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

This was my fifth visit to the Fleet Premier Inn in Hampshire and as ever I had a great stay. The welcome we received at reception each time has been friendly and courteous and the rooms have always been comfortable and as expected. A couple of times we have eaten in the restaurant there in the evening and the food has been good value and a decent quality. The drinks menu is adequate but not extensive, but this is a minor gripe. I would like to put a shout out for Loki who has been on reception almost every time we have been there. She is extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful each time we have arrived. As well as working in reception, she has also then popped up and been an efficient server in the restaurant for us too. Overall, we look forward to returning for another stay soon.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The hospitality was excellent, and the overall experience was comfortable and pleasant. A special mention to Loki, who was exceptionally courteous, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Her warm and professional approach really made a difference. I truly appreciate the great service and would definitely visit again!

We have stayed in this hotel consistantly, a couple of times, each year since it was built to visit family, most recently, this weekend. It used to be great due to its location, price, cleanliness and great breakfast. However, the last few years it has really gone downhill. The rooms are still really clean but are now looking exceptionally tired. Prices have gone up and up, yet standards are down. The rooms need upgradong, paint is peeling, the carpets are worn and dirty looking. The tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits you used to get are now just tea and coffee. The breakfast, we declined this time, as the last 2 visits, breakfast was very poor, very little choice compared to a few years ago and some items had completely run out at around 9.15am when we turned up for our breakfast. At £11.99 pp it is no longer good value for money, you can get an excellent breakfast down the road at Frankies cafe, for much less. Parking too, used to be free if you were a guest at this hotel, now we find that after paying well over £100 for a 2 night stay, that we also had to pay £6 to park our car there. Staff used to welcome you and show you yo your room, now you have to look for them if you struggle with the automated check in system and ultimately the worst thing we encountered was someone actually entered our room in the early hours of Sunday morning. I wasnt really sleeping and could hear people chatting outside and heard what I thought was them trying our door. They moved away after a few minutes and I must have nodded back off, however, later, I got up to use the toilet and saw a strip of light to the outside landing and realised the door was actually open. Whoever tried the door should not have been able to access, yet they did. Luckily they had realised someone was in there and it may have been a genuine mistake, but surely there is a real security risk here. Very dissapointed, Premier Inn needs to do better.
