History

With humble beginnings starting out as a linen shop on the corner of Knightsbridge and Sloane Square, this now world-famous department store has been around since 1831. Set up  by Benjamin Harvey and James Nichols, the business stayed within the family business for decades. Now, it has seven stores across the UK as well as another seven overseas including destinations such as Hong Kong, Dubai and Turkey.

Located in Knightsbridge, one of London’s most glamorous areas, it can be easily reached by bus, tube or on foot if you’re in the area doing a spot of sightseeing.

Layout and facilities

Spanning a huge seven floors, this high-end department store has a range of departments, services, and places to eat and drink. From the men’s barbershop and beauty bars on the lower ground floors to the first floor full of Jimmy Choo shoes, there’s not much it doesn’t have.
