Weymouth hotel

Room was fine, fairly clean couple of bits of ware and tear, only problem was the buffet breakfast was very slow to be filled up

I opted for this hotel Premier Plus, and so glad I did. It meant we got a little fridge, which is a blessing because neither my wife or I can stand UHT milk, so we brought our own, and it was nice to stash some water bottles and a few cheeky gin tins. The room was spotless and oh my God the bed was so comfy, we were so reluctant to get out of it in the mornings. No wonder Lenny Henry goes on about it..... Picked this hotel too because we wanted to do some touring about, so on the edge of Weymouth was perfect. And right by a retail park satisfied my wife's shopping desires....😆 But a special mention must go to the Social bar/restaurant, the staff in particular. We arrived later than we anticipated on Friday 11 September due to a serious traffic accident in our local area. We arrived tired and hungry, and though it was only a few minutes before the restaurant stopped taking orders, we were shephered in by the restaurant manager and the food was wonderful. So good was the food we ate there every night of our four day stay, even though we'd planned to explore Weymouth more. They were short staffed though, and had to do limited bookings which is understandable and well managed by the staff. Some guests were audibly upset when they couldn't get a table, but they shouldn't turn up on spec with a large group. Go to Wetherspoons 😡 One afternoon we went to an independent cafe in Weymouth and it took half an hour to get a baguette and a coffee so some people should stop expecting a Ritz treatment. A really lovely stay, top class food in the Social, professional staff, and I hope the Social manager doesn't give up. Premier, pay your staff more 🤔👍

Dirty rooms and bathroom was of a poor standard. Very tired looking and not to a standard I would expect from Premiere. Would not stay here again. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Room smelt really damp and fusty. We had to change rooms. Chip on the mugs and cleaning cloth left in the room. The room had clearly not been checked beforehand. Overpriced for the quality we received.

The room was very dirty. Stained carpet and toilet. Very dusty in places and cobwebs. Holes in the ceiling tiles and a very dirty grill in the ceiling. The fact we paid for a premier plus room, would have expected a better experience. Upon arrival we only had one hand towel, no coffee, hand soap was empty and an awful smell in the room. Mentioned to the staff they said they would come and spray the room after we went to reception 3 times to get the missing items. Tried informing them whilst we staying there about the dirt in our room and all they could say was it was down to the cleaners - ok this maybe the case but surely you should rectify the problem seeing as the cleaners were not around? Also the fact the toilet was stained and grubby carpet was something they could not rectify, really surely a good clean would sort it out?? The outside of the building was very dirty and needed a good clean and paint.
