Warrington North East hotel

The location was very nice. Winwick was a nice green area. The hotel was an up to standard Premier Inn. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast coffee was a dire instant powder. The coffee machine should have b|n available to paying Premier Hotel customers The food was cleared away at 9am. Far too early for holiday makers.

It’s only 1.5 miles off the M6 but is very quiet. Free parking. The staff are lovely and the rooms have been updated. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pub next door was great for dinner and breakfast. It’s worth popping over the road to look at the village church and memorial.

We booked a room here last minute after deciding to stay overnight in the area. For £67 I wasn't expecting much but we were very pleasantly surprised. After being greeted on entry with a huge smile and quickly recieving our key cards, we went up to our room and it was spotless, warm & welcoming. We were in room 38 on the Premier Plus Floor. The hotel was quiet and the bed was comfy. We slept like logs. On our way out the lady on reception gave us a little valentine chocolate gift which was a lovely touch. There are no lifts here but the stairs were doable even with my old knees. The heating was on when we got there and was easily changed to suit us. The shower was over the bath and you can switch between a lower shoulder level head to keep your hair dry or an overhead rainfall shower while you soap up with the provided shower gels. This was one of the friendliest, cleanest prem inns we have ever stayed in and we use them 3 or 4 times a year. We will definitely stay here again.

We paid for a plus room for extra comfort, only to lose sleep and be misled. The air vents would whine like someone was vacuuming in the next room all night. It was so distracting and loud, and to give Premier Inn the benefit of the doubt I waited to see if it would stop. It didn’t, and I did not sleep. I complained to reception early in the morning, was told I’d get money back if I called guest services and the receptionist noted my complaint down so that when the call happened they had confirmation. After 20 minutes on hold to guest services I was told no money could be refunded for the problems because I waited for it to stop. I am furious… the sleep guarantee is a scam, and I will not be booking with Premier inn anymore. Insensitive, Money grabbing liars.
