"I got clean and there were no ants m"
I got clean and there were no ants. Beyond that it was a hideous experience. The receptionist was disinterested, the room was far too hot and the "complimentary breakfast" was so awful I walked away. My friends and I had been performing at the Tewkesbury Medieval Festival and don't ask much after 3 days camping but booked the Premier Inn because of the restaurant. We were informed a week in advance that this would be closed. This was far too late to book anywhere else. Having stayed in this hotel for the last 5 years, we won't be doing so again.
"Stay here as a last resort"
Do not use this hotel until they have finished renovating it. You will NOT be getting the breakfast menu as advertised. You will receive a complimentary! pastry from reception. We paid £170 a night to sleep on a building site, without air conditioning on the hotest day of the year. Carparking is at a premium as most of it is taken up with building stuff.
    "Nice hotel needs improvement "
Stayed here for 1 night to break journey. Our welcome was excellent, we were informed that the restaurant opposite was going under some renovation, I already knew about this as Premier Inn had kept me informed with emails. We were pointed in the direction of a very nice pub along the road where we could have a meal/drink. Room was clean just as expected with Premier, we had been issued with a fantastic which we used but wasn't enough overnight as temps were 25 degrees and very uncomfortable the rooms definitely need air conditioning and sooner rather than later as we never slept a wink. We had breakfast following morning( was pre paid) but even that was not up to Premier standards, the hot food had been cooked and left out under hot plate lights that it had all dried up you could've bounced the black pudding off the wall. I know it's going under re-furbishment but it was still awful. Would I return, I don't think so and at the moment I wouldn't recommend
    "Far too hot to sleep"
Can't fault the cleanliness and physical comfort of the room. The temperature of the room, however, was unbearable. We asked for a north-facing room so as not to get the afternoon sun, and even brought 2 of our own fans. One fan was supplied. We all had cold showers before bed but there was little sleep had. Couldn't open the window more than a couple of inches (for safety reasons). I simply can't justify paying £130 for a room which I find very uncomfortable. I emailed customer services but did nothing. I won't be staying here in the summer again.
    "Big let down"
Worst premier inn we have ever stayed in. Positives were nice food in the evening. Good parking on site That’s it. Room was stifling due to no air con. It was 31 degrees outside. Ridiculous. No cooked breakfast due to gas issues. A couple of helpful staff but generally pretty indifferent. I would say Avoid.
