Swansea Waterfront hotel

Very bad experience. Room cleaning is so bad. Lift smell of wee. Not clean at all. Very outdated hotel. Customer services terrible

Came for a weekend away with the family, when we arrived the rooms had already been asigned and as 3 of our children are sen and need both of us to be with them, the staff were so helpful in sorting us joining rooms, Even left us a treat for when we arrived.

View was horrible, Bathroom Wass very poorly repaindlted!/patched up. Skirting boards were rotting and just painted over poorly. Smell coming from drain in the bath. Staff were fairly friendly and check-in was easy. I payed £138 for this room. And even booked in advance!

Good location, on the waterfront, short walk to nice restaurants and Swansea town centre. Car park beside the hotel, £6 for 24 hours, payment by coins or an app, no credit card facility. The hotel is very shabby and dirty, the kind that has accumulated over a long period of time. The hotel décor is very dated compared to other Premier Inn Hotels. Black duct tape used to make good carpet tears in reception and window draught in bedroom. There was a smell of must in the bedroom. We had breakfast booked but after visiting the beefeater pub / restaurant for change to pay for the car park we cancelled the breakfast, like the rest of the hotel it was filthy, the carpet was sticky under foot. Staff were pleasant. The free internet was very slow and unusable. Unfortunately we did not read recent reviews prior to booking but thankfully we were only booked in for one night. Overall we were very disappointed with the hotel and we would not recommend it. Separately and nothing to do with the hotel, it has been a few years since we were in Swansea but we were shocked to see how much the town has deteriorated in that time, empty commercial units and obvious social problems. Wind Street was chaotic and shocking to see at six o clock on a Saturday afternoon.

Located on the waterfront with easy walking distance to various restaurants. We were in a scruffy, shabby room on the 2nd floor with well worn carpet, cracked lampshade, curtains hanging off the rail and shower curtain over a bath. Stained toilet and the bathroom floor looked like it needed to be bleached. Staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant (Beefeater) was well run. Large car parks on both sides of the hotel, £6.20 for 24hrs.
