"Second to non, superb stay"
The rooms are super clean, The bed super comfy, The foosd superr good and the staff are super friendly, considerate and helpful. What more can I say. This Premier Inn will not disappoint. Absolutely, perfectly super !!
"Very pleasant stay"
We had a lovely stay at the Premier inn shrewsbury. All the staff their were really pleasant and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a premier plus room which was nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. No complaints at all and we would definitely stay here again.
"Great location and staff"
Great location and literally a 4 minute walk from the station. Short walk to the centre of town. Great friendly staff and very comfortable beds
"Great staff !"
We stopped in for a breakfast on the way to north wales, & the service was absolutely fantastic! Tracey who greeted us is an excellent representative of premier inn . The food was fantastic. The buffet , with fruit & cereal is a great choice for those not wanting a cooked breakfast. We will definitely return . I’m very glad we was able to walk in . Thank you ! Mark , Tom . Matt & Andy Goldberg .
"Big disappointment"
Well, sure, the bed is comfy but that is all. Here are the downsides. Paid £100 a night without meals. From the outside, the hotel is in serious need of a clean. Check-in tedious and humourless. Look after that bedroom card becasue you need it to get into the lift lobby, activate the lift - a real faff. The room is treble glazed and thus no traffic noise - great but it amplifies the noise of the airconditioning fan (which can't be turned off). The window board is water damaged, as is the bath panel. Double room, only one chair. Reception said "Well one of you can sit on the bed!" Seriously! Tea and coffee facilities - Yes, one tea bag and one coffee sachet, no biscuits. No glasses for cleaning your teeth - Reception says "Well, use your tea mug!" No drinking water - reception says "Youhave to buy it at the bar"! - I kid you not! No USB charging point. Free wi-fi. You have to register every day. Dial-up service would be faster. TV, if you can call it that. Just five channels available with preset volume so you have to set 3 feet in front of the monitor. So, down to breakfast - £15 extra. The layout is very poor. The bread is Warburtons (Mothers Pride to oldies) sliced, flabby bacon and tasteless sausages. Finally the car park. £13 a night extra, if ou can find a space! If it's full you have to go to the shopping centre multi-storey and then claim it back (not from Premier Inn) To be fair, the car park problem wasn't entirely their fault. It had concrete pillars positioned in an awkward spot with the result that each SUV occupied three parking spaces. I complained to management who were really arsy about it. They shrugged their shoulders and just said that that is the way it is. Think I am turning into Victor Meldrew!
