Peterborough North hotel

Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was lovely and comfortable and we all got a good night sleep especially after a day at Burghley horse trails. Natalie was extremely helpful and friendly and did such a great job considering she was the only one serving in the reception and then later in the restaurant. Will definitely return next year

Although the kerb appeal was somewhat lacking I found this no frills Premiere Inn more than satisfactory. We were greeted by Natalie who was friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and the bedding and towels were fresh. We decided to eat at the on site restaurant which once again looked tired and somewhat run down but we couldn’t fault the service (Natalie was amazing - single handedly running the tables, bar, payments with a smile that hid the stress she must have been under!) and the food was good - a good selection too. On the whole I would return but I think the exterior of the premises needs some attention as it’s this that lets it down.

We stayed just one night and there was a reduced menu because the chef had to go to hospital but the staff there were amazing. A member of staff offered to do a double shift to keep the kitchen open and managed to serve faultless chicken goujons for starters and cheese and bacon burgers mains. After a long day at the horse trials we were very grateful to Bethany(?) for her dedication! Natalie seemed to be in charge and did a great job keeping service moving. It was very clean, comfy beds and great value. Will book again for next year.

Not the best location but Kirsty who seems to always be working on reception or in the restaurant turns this from a 3 star to a 4 star review. Nice personality, good sense of humour and a bright smile makes a difference
