Peterborough North hotel

Arrived on Friday, pre booked early check in at 11am, a warm welcome awaited by friendly staff. Made our way to our room, lovely, spacious and a huge comfy bed awaited for a perfect night sleep. Went for a family party and some down time, the weather was nice, able to get out and about to local retail park etc. Had food at Paul Pry, nicely cooked and superb service, only open tohotel guests now which is a bit of a shame as it was a lot quieter. Many thanks to all the staff for the welcome and hard work everyone put in, much appreciated. Look forward to staying again in the near future. Regards Alun & John

We recently stayed at the Premier Inn Peterborough North and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel itself was excellent — very clean, tidy, warm, comfortable, and well decorated. The room had everything we needed for our stay and we were very happy with the standard throughout the hotel. We booked breakfast for two adults, with our child eating free, which was a great bonus. Breakfast was served in the pub next door rather than inside the hotel itself. The food overall was good and my continental breakfast order was very nice. The coffee was also enjoyable. However, there were a few areas where the breakfast experience could be improved. We had to wait a few minutes before being seated and were initially placed in a very hot conservatory area down some steps, which wasn’t ideal as I was using a walking stick at the time. Thankfully, the staff were accommodating and allowed us to move to a more suitable table when we asked. There were also a few small issues with service and presentation. Bowls for breakfast had not yet been restocked when we arrived, the orange juice ran out, there were no croissants available at one point, and one of the toasters did not appear to be working properly. The main disappointment was the cleanliness in the breakfast/pub area itself. While the hotel was spotless, the pub area felt a little run down and there were quite a few cobwebs around our table area, which could definitely do with more attention. That said, the stay itself was very comfortable and enjoyable overall, and with a few improvements to the breakfast area, this could easily be an excellent experience from start to finish.

Location was good, on a busy road but couldn’t hear the traffic. Rooms must be newly renovated as they look updated and were clean. Restaurant was quite dated, limited staff. The cost of the room was not too bad for 1 night as well

The hotel itself was good and the rooms were nice. However.. the pub/ restaurant is utterly awful. The servers are lost when it comes to taking orders from more than 1 person and the chef managed to break a world record by taking 1 hour to produce a starter and 1:32 hours to produce below average mains. I recommend you run in the other direction and don't even think about coming to the establishment as you will lose years off your life. (For reference this is the fruit salad desert)
