"Thank you Ray & Jake for your proffesional attitude and warm hospitality"
Premier Inn on Goldsmith Street in Nottingham has a good central location just like the other Premier Inn.
Everything is within ten to fifteen min walk.
The view from room number 240 is however uncomparable to a nice view in the other Premier Inn we stayed in September 2025.
Atmosphere is pleasant, our room was clean. I missed a coffee machine in our room which the other Premier Inn room was equipped with.
We loved staying in this Premier Inn thanks to wonderful staff Ray & Jake who were there upon our arrival.
Ray&Jake took excellent care of us from sorting our paperwork (adding additional info on our invoice) to serving us late in the evening ( shortly before midnight) to serving us delicious breakfast in the morning.
They were working constantly.

"Surprise Birthday visit to Crete too!"
I was greeted on arrival by Ruby and Nicola, Nicola volunteered to take my luggage to my room and Ruby informed me how busy the chef was but he had sorted my meal, which I had pre-ordered, and would do it for the time I had requested. Ruby also offered to bring a tray to my room. On arrival to my usual room 110, there were two notes from reception staff and the house keeping team welcoming me back, and John had put the extra touches to my room, cosy chair and table at the foot of my bed, which were very much appreciated. My meal, cooked by Lex', Crispy chicken goujons & Bean & sweet potato shakshuka was lovely after a nine hour coach journey, greatly appreciated having it brought to my room.
Whilst at the hotel I decided to do a surprise visit to Crete, where my daughter and family had gone on holiday, so changed my second part of my Nottingham stay at Goldsmith Street from 14th-17th to 18th-20th August. Ram's the manager, offered me the chance to leave some of my belonging at the hotel, which meant I did not need to take everything and saved me booking Hold luggage for the Crete journey.
On my return flight from Crete I suffered a severe Asthma attach and was quite poorly.
I would like to express my thanks to Hannah & Eli for their care, help and support on my return to the hotel & Reece who arrived on shift a bit later. Hannah went above and beyond with offering to take me to the emergency department, thankfully this was not needed, she also came to my room on two occasions to check how I was and to bring jugs of water so I could keep hydrated and hot food.
I would like to thank all the following staff: Front of House; Nicola, Ruby, Trinity, Jake, Reece, Ray, Sonia, Eli, Hannah, Shannon, Sophia, Tina (only seen once this time but you gave a very warm smile and greeting on seeing me), Chefs; Adam, Lex, little Dan (thank you for going above and beyond when you stayed cooking later than usual for my Nandaughter & I when she arrived after work, the ribs were wonderful, thanks), Casey, Richard, John (Mr fix it), House Keeping; Pat, Sam, Kerry, Hazna (you always say hello & give a warm welcome), Sue (sorry you are moving to a different Premier Inn, their gain, I wish you all the best & will be sure to let you know when I am at Goldsmith Street so you can come & catch up with me), finally Rams, for making my stay with my purple family a very memorable occasion. It was good to see you to Eddy, thanks for asking how I was and letting me know you were pleased to see me too!
I will soon be back, already booked, October, November and Christmas to New year!
Advice for the future:- Keep Smiling!
There are 86,000 seconds in a day, use some to pass on a smile - hopefully you will get a smile in return!
