"Worst Premier Inn i've stayed at"
Location was perfect. Got to hotel, the lift's floor number display didn't work in the 1st lift. 1st floor button kept getting stuck and beeping in the second lift. Got to reception, there was no one there to check in so I checked in on the app. Bar area was extremely hot. Went to our room on 10th floor and dropped our bags off. Room was hot so we put the air con on and left to go for some food. On return, we found our room wasn't cool. Went to reception around midnight to ask what was happening with our aircon, a member of staff from the bar told us the air con hadn't worked since 9am and that it was out of their control. Had there have been someone at reception when we checked in, and told us there and then that the aircon wasn't working, we would have gone elsewhere. I asked them what they had to cool our room down as we couldn't open windows, and they told me they could get me a fan in the morning once they find out what's happening with the aircon. So I then had to ask for water as they weren't giving it out to guests. Went back to our room and tried to sleep but the temperature was 30+. About 3am my partner and I were suffering from severe heat exhaustion, ending up with us being sick and feeling dizzy and several showers to try and cool us down so we checked out around 3.30am. No one was at reception to discuss this with so we dropped our keys in the check out box and went home. This ruined our weekend, and cost us a lot of money on events we had paid for, plus another nights stay and breakfasts at the hotel lost out on. We are currently trying get a refund from Premier Inn as I write this, but still waiting a response. If only we had a window that could be opened, as the air out side was refreshingly chill. The bedroom was spacious, but the bed sheets were dirty. The shower didn't drain very well, and the toilet seat was broken. Hallways carpets were dirty. Lack of staff in the hotel - amazing anyone stays there. Also, where is the fire excape map on the room doors?? Never had issues at other Premier Inns. Most disappointing!

"Well below expected standard"
Poor quality hotel, not seeming to care re customer service, noisy dirty and poor service, what more could you want for Premier Inn at key London location.

"Spacious, well located budget hotel."
You know what you’re getting with a Premier Inn, so the advert says, but not all Premier Inns are equal and I’ve found that some are (significantly) better (or worse) than others.
The Westfield Stratford Premier Inn is well located, directly opposite Stratford International Railway Station (only 7 minutes by train to St Pancras) and just a few metres from the entrance to Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre, which gives a huge variety of dining options within a 10-minute walk, or travel a little further and you will reach Stratford High Street with less chain-based options.
There are 10 floors in the hotel (excluding the entry lobby) with most having 30 rooms (276 in total), however reception on the first floor is actually about 7 or 8 floors above ground level – I was on floor 4 and looking down on the roof of Level 9 of one of the car parks quite a way below. As such, taking the stairs down from reception to ground level is a fair trek.
There are 3 lifts, which isn’t really enough for the number of guests, and I did find myself having to wait for quite a while to get a lift (or the next one as the first one was full), particularly around breakfast. Some of the buttons are also a bit stiff and I had to check that the floor I wanted had registered.
My room was fairly large by London standards and in a good state of repair. Being so high up gave a good view across the city, although limited by some of the other tall buildings in the area. Large comfy bed, decent work area, small open storage for hanging items with a drawer below, decent sized television with a reasonable selection of channels, bench and couch (I was in a triple room for single occupancy).
The bathroom was roomy with a bath and shower combination. Plenty space for toiletries.
I really struggled to get any reception on my phone, as the 5G signal was so poor, but this might be due to the side of the building I was on (east), as I got a strong signal in the restaurant/ bar area which was facing the shopping centre. There is 30 minutes free WiFi available, however the speed is fairly slow and it wasn’t going to allow me time to stream or download anything, so I opted for the £5/ 24 hours “ultimate WiFi, which I found fine to get Netflix.
Lighting was really good in the room, which is often overlooked by planners. 6 downlighters in the main part of the room, with another over the entry area meant that I had no issues seeing (in my last Premier Inn stay I was literally using a torch to look for things in my case). There was additional task lighting on the desk, which is essential if you’re staying for work, which I was. Small over-bed directional lights for reading. Lighting was good in the bathroom too, which often feels like a dark hole in some Premier Inns.
Plenty of sockets/ charging points. Sockets and USB-A ports on each side of the bed with a further two double sockets on the desk and by a mirror/ shelf. There was also a HDMI input on the desk for the television.
I only used the restaurant for breakfast – full cooked or continental available. It was busy but the offerings usually replenished quickly, although on occasion there were eggs or bacon missing and I gave up waiting. Food was hot enough but with a buffet it’s never perfect.
Overall, I was quite happy with the hotel given its location. The price of the stay was higher than I’d have expected but that’s London for you. It comfortably meets both of my default criteria of “would I stay again” and “would I recommend it? “

"Great"
Good Location from Tottenham stadium for my concert. Easy commute back after. Clean and comfortable. And the breakfast is always worth it.
