London Kensington (Earl's Court) hotel

Stayed 3 nights, 2 rooms bed & breakfast ( family of 4). First time at this PI having previously stayed at County Hall twice before. Location is good, a few minutes walk from Earls Court Tube station and around 15 mins to Gloucester Road/ all the museums on Cromwell Road. Decent breakfast as you expect at PI and a few very helpful staff members (Victoria especially) but that is really the only positives I can post. Early access room (11am) not available when we checked-in around 1pm followed by lots of huffing & puffing from male staff member. Reception hardly ever staffed and no one comes when you press the buzzer - you have to go looking for someone. Toilets on ground floor reception dated and dirty/smelly. Overall the hotel is rundown - rooms are a bit grubby/in need of decoration. None of our windows were allowed to be open, air conditioning is poor and extractor fan in bathroom is non existent. Overall makes the small rooms stuffy & a bit smelly. This is the worst PI we have stayed in and PI are cutting everything back / staff, no shower cap for waterfall shower, no plastic cups in bathroom for toothbrushes etc and only 1 hand towel for 2 guests. Just seemed pretty cheap compared with previous stays. Unfortunately we won’t return and couldn’t recommend this hotel.

The staff in the dining area were very attentive and helpful. We would especially like to thank Nebahat for her excellent service. The area around the hotel was very quiet, and the hotel was generally clean. The breakfast was also better than what we’ve experienced at other hotels in the same category. The room cleaning could have been better. The bed sheets hadn’t been changed, and the floors hadn’t been vacuumed. It seemed like only the bins had been emptied. We had previously seen a review mentioning that the hotel windows were sealed and could not be opened, so we emailed the hotel in advance to request a room with an openable window due to our allergies. They took our request into consideration. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. It is a great value-for-money hotel, and we would choose it again.

We stayed here for a night before our holiday. The location was great and hotel was nice. What let it down was the service afterwards. Our 2 year old daughter left her teddy bear in the bed ( she tucked it in for a nap unknown to us) As you can imagine a distraught 2 year old losing her nighttime friend. When I contacted hotel I asked if they had kept and if I could pay for postage to get returned. I got passed to housekeeping and after numerous chasers heard nothing. This service really let it down and my daughter lost her favourite toy she has had as a baby from her late grandma and the hotel just discarded it like trash and ignore us. Poor service premier inn, do better!!!

I highly recommend this hotel. It has a great location, super friendly staff, great bar and restaurant. Lovely comfortable beds and really clean.
