"Was ok"
Very easy to find nice looking building the reception is on the 4th floor the lift as reported by many is very slow and the other lift has been refurbished since January 2026 and clearly it's now July it not going to be fixed any time soon.
Reception desk is tiny and next to the dining area with a broken bell no one manning the desk saw one member of staff who was trying to do all sorts of different roles checked in room on level three entered the room all looked good saw the slot to enter card so did so then the lights didn't work called the reception number to b put through to a virtual receptionist who was completely useless and finally got through to reception who said they would send someone up after another chasing phone call half a hour later to be told they had the wrong room number finally a man turned up pulled the door car and managed to get the lights to work. Settled down to then realise that we only had one towel so back up to reception to ask for extra one.
We didn't eat in the hotel but decided to eat out on touring the area we struggled to find any decent restaurants we found Nando's and a cocktail bar and was informed by other hotel guests of a pub ten mins walk down the canal path. We finally found a lovely Italian called love food Italia it's a six minute walk and the food was outstanding.
Tips if you are only parking for the night then use the machine you can only do the night tariff on the machine you cannot do it on ringo.
It was a typical premier inn but standards have dipped and you can see the stripping out of staff has made it go down hill but you cannot blame the staff who are trying to do their jobs in difficult circumstances.

"Broken shower valve and unsatisfactory national customer relations department refund offer"
Very disappointing stay - staff at the hotel were very friendly however, this does not compensate for the shower which I was unable to turn off from full blast, with reception staff having to phone off-site maintenance staff on Saturday night for advice. After 20 minutes, and lots thumping and banging, staff were able to turn off the shower - however my husband did not dare try the shower until the morning, when once again the shower could not be turned off from full pressure. Reception staff said it could not be fixed until the following day as it was the weekend. Checked out 4 hours later - shower still running at full blast. Hotel was fully booked so staff were unable to move us to another room. Completely unacceptable situation for a room costing £155 per night. Contacted the national customer relations department and after 30 mins on hold spoke to someone who said it was a known issue at the hotel (!?!!) - and I was offered a 37% refund. Why 37% - apparently the computer said so! Not acceptable that my husband had to go to bed without a shower after a very hot and sticky summer day. Come on Premier Inn - we expect better of you!

"Very organised breakfast"
The kitchen and restaurant staff coped amazingly when 50 of us descended on breakfast at once, and the food was brilliant too

"Fantastic stay."
The best premier inn we’ve ever stayed in. Perfect for if you’re visiting the safari park- it’s around a 5 minute drive away.
We stay here every time we visit the safari park and each time it gets better. It’s clean; staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing and fresh and the room was clean. We’ll be back later in the year, thankyou for another fantastic stay!
