"AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!"
Where do I even begin! From start to finish our experience in this hotel was terrible! We had booked 2 nights in this hotel and my partner was having a hair transplant in the local area, we were travelling from 2 hours away so needed somewhere easy to access and somewhere to rest. Well this was the opposite. We have stayed in many premier inn’s before and never once had an issue until we stayed here. We booked our stay online and received a confirmation email to confirm our booking and confirm the price at £153. The confirmation email and the website both said there was free onsite parking and free wifi. We arrive at the hotel ready to pay for our booking and we are told we have to pay £177 for the 2 nights stay. Plus an additional £18 for parking! Now in fairness to the lady on reception she said she would look into this and she didn’t charge us for parking due to the price mix up and added breakfast for us. However just before we headed up to our room we were asked if there were any valuables in the car. There wasn’t as I never leave anything in the car. The lady then said they have a habit of cars being broken into/damaged. We are then also told if we would like to connect to the WiFi there is a £5 daily charge! So already within 10 minutes of us being there the price of our stay isn’t what we booked. The free car parking and free WiFi is a lie and on top of that there’s a risk my car would be broken into or damaged! This is all before even leaving reception! We get our key cards and head up to the room and we were utterly disappointed. The pictures on the website were nothing like our room was! Firstly the room was very smelly. It was almost like a musky/mouldy smell. We opened windows, sprayed our deodorants/body sprays to try and get rid of the smell but it didn’t work. Pictures fixed onto the wall wonky with uneven gaps. Damage to walls. The carpet was filthy. We had to ask for more towels because for a 2 person stay we were given 1 towel to share! One of the bedside tables was broken and replaced with what looked like an old bar stool. The room overlooked a very appealing dustbin area and a very very busy railway. Now we thought surely there would be some form of sound proofing to help with the noise. No! I counted at one point there were 5 trains that went by in the space of 60 seconds, and this wasn’t just during the day this was also when trying to sleep. Constantly being woken from the noise and the vibration of the room shaking from the passing trains. We headed to the restaurant for our breakfast which was appalling! Unlimited full English sounded incredible, and upon arriving either it didn’t look too bad either. Dished up what we wanted and headed back to the table. Everything was cold, I’m not talking a little bit cold, I’m talking stone cold. Now I would expect this if maybe we went for breakfast at a later time but we went down just before 8am! The staff were friendly I can’t fault them but the hotel itself was just outrageous. I’d never ever stay here again. We have to return to the area in 6 weeks for another appointment for my partner and I can safely say we will not be staying here! So although the staff tried to help us by adding on the car parking and breakfast to the extra costs we had, we still spent more than we wanted to in having to eat elsewhere due to the food being inedible. Overall the stay was the worst I’ve ever had.

"Not the best Premier Inn we have been to"
The location of Premium Inn Harrow is convenient for London, being close to two metro stations and with a secure car park. The room is clean and quiet.
However, the hotel feels tied in deco and the reception area is very small with hardly anywhere to sit, not a welcoming first impression. Breakfast is served at the Beefeater next door, which is dark and has a pub like feel, not a bright place to start a day.
