"Hotter than hell"
If it's more than 19 degrees avoid this place at all costs. The tiny window only opens 5cm so it will be at least 10 degrees hotter than it is outside and stuffy at all times - this is the theme throughout this sticky, stuffy place.
Bed and room size are fine but the heat makes it impossible to relax or sleep or cool down.
Shower pressure wasn't strong enough to wash my hair.
Wouldn't recommend.

"Avoid room 105 - 27.5°C & when outside is 19°C"
We have stayed at this Premier Inn every year while travelling home from England/France and have always chosen it because we trusted the brand. Sadly, this stay was completely unacceptable.
We were allocated Room 105, which was an unbearable 27.5°C on arrival, despite the outside temperature being just 18°C and raining. The hotel had already placed a fan in the room, which tells me they were fully aware there was a problem. The fan made little difference, and we endured a hot, sleepless night.
In the morning it was 19°C and cloudy outside, making the excessive heat in the room even more inexcusable.
When we raised our concerns, staff admitted that Room 105 has an ongoing problem because it is directly above the kitchen. If the hotel knows this room is unfit for a comfortable night's sleep, it should not be selling it to paying guests until the issue is properly resolved. Continuing to let a room with a known fault is unacceptable.
To make matters worse, Premier Inn's WhatsApp customer service showed little interest in our experience and offered no meaningful assistance. It's extremely disappointing that a company which promotes a "Good Night Guarantee" appears so unconcerned when it clearly fails to deliver one.
After many years of staying here, this experience has completely undermined our confidence. This hotel will no longer be our regular stopover. I would strongly advise anyone offered Room 105 to request a different room.

"Excellent stay!"
I'm really pleased I chose this Premier Inn to stay in as from the moment I entered the building I was greeted by Janine who was really friendly and helpful as I wanted to leave my car early because I was going to an event in another car. The free parking is great with lots of spaces.
The location is really good as a few minutes off the M61, but in a quiet location. There's a resteraunt next door, but staff will also give you details of local eateries.
Later on in the evening when I booked in another lovely lady, whose name I didn't get was very efficient.
The room was a good size and very clean. OK the room was hot, but in the extreme warm weather it's not surprising, and for the few warm periods we get I totally understand it's not worthwhile installing air-conditioning, fans were provided in rooms.
Checkout was also good with Alana taking time to chat and offer more tips for my next visit.
I think this Premier Inn is very good value for money and would definitely stay here again.
All the staff are a credit to the hotel. Thank you.

"Sooo hot in room"
There is no air conditioning. We were put in a room facing the canal which I thought was nice of them. Then we got into the room. It was like entering hell it is so hot. These rooms face the sun directly. I doubt we will sleep for sweating. Its a nice view in the morning we were told. This doesn't compensate for such heat. Quite dangerous at our age. Wouldn't say again unless it's winter!

"Definately one of the best Premier Inns"
Having stayed in several Premier inns around the country this is one of the better ones. Everyone was friendly and efficient and the room and bathroom were clean
