"Wonderful Easter stay."
Very good stay in this hotel. Accessable wet room was great and the hotel is ideal for wheelchair users like myself. We came as a family group in 3 rooms and we were all really happy with our stay. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

"Another good stay"
Have stayed here many times since it was newly opened. It never disappoints. The location is perfect, 2 mins walk to westcliffe zig zag down to the beach, and bus stops adjacent to hotel for taking the Breezer open top buses to Swanage, Sandbanks etc, or into Bournemouth (although only about a 10-15 minute walk down hill to the square and gardens).
Staff are lovely, with a special mention to Sheila the breakfast cook. Always a smile on her face for all the guests, and the quality of the breakfast is outstanding, hot and plentiful with a ready supply of fried eggs and food constantly replenished, and noting her temperature control checks of the hot food, she is outstanding. Andy in the dining area and Roz are also both friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough to ensure guests have a good stay. Dirty plates cleared swiftly and tables relaid, and they are constantly topping up the breakfast items and juices. Nothing ever ran out during our stay.
Rooms are clean and fresh on arrival, and room cleaning can be done on request, but we dont feel the need for this so always just pick up fresh towels etc as and when required from reception
Looking forward to our return visit in June.

"Thank you Chef Sheila!"
Stayed in many Premiers, this one is really good. The stand out was Chef Sheila's gluten free breakfast, made very carefully and absolutely delicious.

"Not great ,very disappointing"
They seem to have a skeleton staff here and tried to eat there Friday evening and told fully booked so we eat out that fine. In Bournemouth town Saturday daytime and I rang on and off for 40 minutes to reception and no answer at all. When we got back to hotel no reception stall so went to restaurant and the said they were busy but got a table at 7.30pm. While we were eating two families got turned away being told no spaces and while we were there it was us and only one other table,so empty all evening. Breakfast this morning has to be the worst i have had in years. Stone complete cold mushrooms ,beans fried eggs bacon. We stay in Bournemouth’s fair bit in other hotels and no issues. Lastly from the moment we arrived Friday to Sunday to room above had a child bouncing a ball all the way upto this morning 8am when we left and like all weekend no reception staff to speak to. Even when we left and handed out room cards in no reception staff just a box to put cards in.

"Dreadful Breakfast"
Breakfast was just dreadful. Just not value for money and certainly isn't 'Unlimited'. No muffins, no pancakes, no chocolate croissants, orange juice ran out so I just took 2 cartons from the fridge and the customers were filling their glasses up by the 2 cartons. Only 2 crumpets left and you needed a chainsaw to get through them they were that dry, no wonder why no one had the last 2. Buffet table was a mess, couldn't see any butters but saw one on the floor so used that, strawberry and raspberry jam ran out. There was only 2 staff on which looked stressed so I didn't want to bother them or moan to them as they had probably been hearing it all morning. Cooked breakfast wasn't hot, the chef looked like he'd had enough. Alot of tables still needed clearing. It's the same old story with premier inn, cut the staffing levels to save the costs, and pay the staff they do have minimum wage and probably get treated like garbage from management and above levels. This is the first Premier Inn breakfast I've been to in a long time and I've had similar experiences with other premier inns when it comes to their breakfasts and evening meals so this is why i avoid. It was a birthday weekend though so thought I would give it another go but just awful. Premier Inn continue to provide poor value for money when it comes to food but still have the guts to advertise an 'unlimited' breakfast and charge what they do. If you want to do that then provide the service otherwise it's an insult. Save your money and find a nice cafe somewhere for less money, less moaning and without the need to have to go to TripAdvisor to warn others of the shambles of West Cliff.
