Birmingham City Centre Bridge Street hotel

Great location. 10min approx from Birmingham new street station to hotel. Atmosphere on arrival fine. Room exactly as it usually is, So good. Value for money excellent for a couple. I am single but prepared to pay couples rate. Always happy with room presentation/ cleanliness.no noise heard. Service fine.

The location was good, but there is no parking, only 20 mins drop off. For someone with a bad back, it was not ideal. The room, was small and overheated. It was 24C inside during the second night with no air conditioning, even though they advertise it in the hallway, and no way of opening the windows. I never slept and went home a day early as I could not take another night there. I finally got to sleep at 5am, to be woken at 0730 with a building site opposite.

Stayed for 3 nights with family and booked and 3 bed family room via phone call 11 months before stay. Room we got with 2 beds and went to desk and they didnt care and they said all rooms been booked up but only thing they said 1 us had to sleep on the floor and they took 2 hours to get bedding. I sleep on floor for 2 nights out of 3 as 3rd night was finally moved to another room with 3 beds. Room 7 we had, we couldnt open window and it was like an oven and couldnt cool the room and i had to go to shops to ice bags every 12 hours to keep stuff cool as went to cadbury stuff will not melt but sadly most of it did. Staff on desk didnt care at all and was even looking at other hotels but all booked up and alot of money to stay, Only good thing was the food and evening meal female member of staff was polite and with an disabled child with us that did help, but room was bad and myself only had 8-10 sleep overall for the 3 nights and young child didnt sleep well as well as too hot and no fresh air as we couldnt open window. Have contact premier inn about the way we stayed and will not return and no hopes in good customer service reply......

Everywhere was lovely and clean, the extra fan in the room was much appreciated. A few minutes walk from the station means the location is great for a city break.

Booked here for a nights stopover as was going to The Alexandra theatre for a musical production. Looked at the reviews which were very good indeed, but you never know whose knocked these out. I've got to admit it was a really good experience, from getting there too early & being told we could leave our stuff in a secure location till check in time & being given directions for local places to go until then, being looked after with fun, knowledge & humour by all of the staff ( especially Nicola who took our breakfast reservation) to leaving & again being able to leave our bags after 12:00 checkout until we again picked them up around three hours later to go to the station. The rooms are clean, the beds really comfy ( I must tell you that I'm not Lenny Henry 😄) & dinner & breakfast were excellent. Great place to stop to explore Birmingham.
