Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales) hotel

Our room was in the annexe building unfortunately and right at the end of the furthest corridor. The room was basic but functional. One light didnt work, wifi was poor around the whole site. No mobile service on site so had to sign in on wifi. The bath was great and filled quickly but emptied slowly. One light was not working as the switch was broken. The food in the 'pub restaurant' on site was very terrible. I had to go elsewhere for food after eating there. I left most of my meal, but was given one free desert as a sort of apology. I am a loyal customer of Premier Inn brand but was very disappointed with this stay at Bangor.

Extremely convenient location for anyone needing easy access to Ysbyty Gwynedd. Our room was spotless and equipped with an incredible fan. Staff were all friendly but a special mention to the lady on the desk for the duration of our stay, Kim! She was a pocket of sunshine and never made us feel we were asking too much. The only disappointment was the table table restaurant being closed on the Sunday evening but this was quickly resolved for us by several recommendations of nearby restaurants. Definitely my first choice for accommodation for the future.

We’d never previously stayed at a Premier Inn, and were not sure what to expect. However, our three night stay at the Premier Inn Parc Menai greatly exceeded our expectations in almost all respects, and if these high standards are replicated across the brand, we will now include Premier Inn in the range of options when selecting a hotel for a short stay. Jodie on Reception was super friendly and helpful, and arranged an early check in which helped us enormously, while Paige (Housekeeping) helped us with our luggage. Both provided better service than we have experienced in many four and five star hotels. Our Premium room was modern, spotlessly clean, very quiet, and much to our delight was equipped with aircon and a Nespresso machine. A small Safe would have been useful, and some softer pillows would have complemented the otherwise very comfortable bed, but these are minor issues in the bigger picture. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and we were very impressed with the standard of service and room.

Good Location. Good Customer Service. Good Parking as always. Our stay at Edinburgh was way better than this one. This time at Bangor, North wales: Bad WIFI. Poor room impression. Bad Bathroom.
